Bill Dill has become the first ever Dean's Chair of Digital Story Telling at the American Film Institute! This pinnacle arrives after 20 years of outstanding leadership as professor of Cinematography at the  California Conservatory, several awards, including an Emmy Award for outstanding cinematography for his work at CBS, critical acclaim internationally at Cannes, Berlin, and Sweden Festivals, a television production "Fires in the mirror ", an American Playhouse project  that became a Pulitzer Prize finalist, many movies,  including  BAPS, The 5 Heartbeats, and many others.
