Power of Place Exhibition at the Museum

Explore first person stories from people across the nation and around the world on the places they live, work, and grow. Stories here touch on a variety of themes: from home, community, and neighborhood to migration, displacement, and loss. Place is about more than just geography. Place is where culture is made, where traditions and histories are kept and lost, and where identities are created, tested, and reshaped over time. Stories included here are featured in NMAAHC's "Power of Place" exhibition. Stories from this site, the Community Curation Platform, are also shared with curators for consideration in the exhibit.
